 Jonathan's
Spoons began by specializing in the design and production of wooden
spoons. The spoons are handcrafted in Pennsylvania from sustainably
harvested wild cherry and maple woods. Cherry is a hardwood with
handsome color and grain which is durable, smooth and strong.
Maple, also a hardwood is otherwise used for bowling pins, pool
cues, baseball bats and butcher's blocks. Here it is used for its
decorative wood grain and its strength. Both choices of wood type
result in utensils that are practical, enjoyable to use and
pleasing additions to any kitchen or serving area. The original spoon collection has evolved to
include spatulas, paddles, serving sets and ladles to cover the
mixing, cooking,baking and serving needs of both right and
left-handed users.
