LA Organic

More
than 200 years ago, an order of nuns began producing the first
olive oil from the fruit of century-old trees of the La Amarilla
groves in Andalusia, Spain. Since that time, the groves have
consistently produced olive oil that is well-known throughout the
region for its exceptional quality.
In the 1990's, the Gómez de Baeza family, present owners of the
estate, decided to continue the oil-producing tradition and to
offer the legendary product to a wider public for the first time.
At the La Amarilla estate, in Andalusia, the blending of LA Organic
extra-virgin olive oil is overseen by a team led by three
specialists: renowned oeneologist Michel Rolland and organic olive
oil veterans, Cristino Lobillo and Jose Cano.
Artistic Director for the LA Organic enterprise is acclaimed
designer and architect Phillipe Starck, who ensures that the
nobility and integrity of LA Olive Oil is preserved and reflected
in all aspects of the physical presentation of the product.
Since LA Organic was created, Andalusia has become known as the
home of the Grand cru of Spanish extra-virgin olive oil.
